Tous les détails:

The ’other’ part of our 24h movement guidelines espouses the virtues of being strong. We are told to engage in strengthening activities twice weekly, and yet the number of people who engage in this portion of the guidelines is shockingly low. Is this a problem? New evidence sheds light on the fact that strengthening activities, including resistance training, share much more in common with aerobic activities in terms of health risk reduction than previously thought. In this webinar, the aim is to provide an up-to-date review of the health-promoting effects of resistance training and why it just might be as, or more, important as aerobic exercise for promoting health, especially as we age.
