Emerging data on the long-term sequelae after COVID-19 suggests that many patients suffer from persistent and relapsing symptoms including mobility problems, dyspnea, and fatigue. It is likely that these patients will benefit from a rehabilitation intervention. This approach is actually recommended by the World Health Organization.


Learning Objectives/Outcomes: 

  • Cite emerging data on the long-term sequelae after COVID-19
  • Describe preliminary evidence on the trajectory of functional recovery after hospitalization for COVID-19
  • Describe the international guidance on rehabilitation in the post-acute phase

Identify tools and strategies for assessing and rehabilitating patients after COVID-19
